Over 1300 people gathered on Friday 21 June in Darsena for the third edition of the Ravenna Music Race Beer Edition which combined sport, music and beer. The start, in front of the Darsenale Brewpub, was given by the Prefect Castrese De Rosa and by the Councilor for Sport and Tourism Giacomo Costantini.
The event gathered a large audience for one 8 km recreational-motor race, confirming itself for the third consecutive year as an important meeting opportunity in one of the most characteristic areas of Ravenna, recently renovated with a new wooden walkway along the Candiano canal. Furthermore, all participants received the first card, no. 001, which allows you to download Marco Frattini’s new song “A due passi dal cielo”, the official soundtrack of the event, for free.
From the moment of the start until the end of the race, the party was animated by the music of Radio Studio Delta with DJ sets by JuryMaru DJ and MarioRomario Voice and by eight music points along the route they took all the participants dance and sing in which Pargonz, Senza Freni, Maniac Duo, Tiziano Trobbiani, Windstorm and Doc Bads Notes played. Once the competition was over, the bands of Mama’s Scuola di Musica, Disturbing Dolls and No Faith livened up the participants’ dinner and concluded the evening in style from 10pm at the Darsenale.

The idea of the Ravenna Music Race in Beer Edition format confirms itself as an exceptional idea which in recent years has been able to welcome many people to the Darsena area of Ravenna in full sunset. The sold out number of bibs fills us with satisfaction and confirms, once again, the originality of this event. We can only thank the many partners who personally contributed to this result, starting with the Darsenale brewpub and Birra Bizantina.
