The redevelopment works of the central area of Busto Arsizio continue. The construction site in via Cavallotti was set up last June 3rd and, according to forecasts, the works will continue until August 29th. Then it will be the turn of Porta and Bramante streets.

The result will be a enlargement of the limited traffic zone: a re-proposal – this time permanent – of the Cavallotti Garden, tested in 2022 on the occasion of the initiatives linked to the Sustainable Mobility Week promoted in particular by the department led by Salvatore Loschiavo.

In the meantime, work has also been done on the road system of Via Crespi Castoldi, which has become one-way: the road can be entered from Corso Europa by turning right to reach Via Lualdi, and no longer vice versaas indicated by the signs placed in recent days.
The road system for the entire area is currently being studied, but it is possible – or probable – that this experimental modification linked to work in progress becomes permanent.

But it is not the only innovation introduced in this short thoroughfare: the stalls have in fact been transformed into the so-called “kiss&go” car parks. It is therefore possible to leave the car parked – free of charge and showing the parking disc – for thirty minutes, to thus facilitate the turnover of those who have to go to this area for some quick errands. There had been “hit and run” parking lots tested for the first time in Piazza Trento and Triestetransformed last September into the “Ti&Ti Park” also in that case as part of the Sustainable Mobility Week.
