The penultimate stage of the approach to the European Championship in Northern Ireland for the Under 19 national team: Bernardo Corradi’s group will meet on Monday 24 June in Bolzano to face a six-day training camp which will end on Saturday 29. The 25 players called up will train at the South Tyrol sports center in Maso Ronco, in the sports area of ​​Appiano sulla Strada del Vino. After the ‘break-the-lines’, the players will return to their respective locations before meeting again in Bolzano from 4 to 9 July. On the 11th in Rome the Azzurrini delegation will gather at the CPO Giulio Onesti before leaving for Northern Ireland the following day.

EUROPEAN AND WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2025. The Azzurrini, who have qualified for the final phase for the 5th consecutive time, the 10th in 20 editions (18th out of 38 also considering the previous U18 format) will present themselves as reigning champions, defending the title won last year in Malta. Inserted in Group A with the hosts Northern Ireland, Ukraine and Norway, they will make their debut against the latter on Monday 15 July at 4.30pm (Italian time) at the Seaview Stadium in Belfast. The second match, scheduled for Thursday 18th, will pit Italy against Northern Ireland (played at 8pm at Inver Park in Larne), to then close on Sunday 21st, again in Larne (8pm) against Ukraine. The top two in each group will qualify for the semi-finals scheduled for Thursday 25th July, also obtaining a pass to the Under 20 World Cup in Chile in 2025. The two third-placed teams, however, will face each other in a play-off match, to be played again on Thursday 25th, to determine the fifth European team that will qualify for Chile. The final in Belfast (which like the semi-finals will be played at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park) will finally be on Sunday 28th at 8pm.
