The project of new AC Milan stadium to San Donato starts to take shape. In recent days, in fact, the plan for the construction of Milan’s new home has landed in the Regional Council, with the Region’s adhesion to the Program Agreement it will be approved next week.
The entire project will cover an area of 486,283 square meters for an investment of 1.28 billion euros, with the stadium having a capacity of 70 thousand seats. Being a modern structure, in addition to the playing field there will be a new museum on the history of Milan, a store for the purchase of official products and shirts and finally a 200 room hotel, without forgetting the places for shopping and dining. Meanwhile, new updates arrive on the San Francesco area, where the cleanup is underway.

The reclamation ofSan Francesco area to San Donato Milanese – the area chosen by Milan for the construction of the new facility – began in recent days.
According to what was reported by colleagues at The citizenthe time this phase will take to complete is around ten days, with 300 tons of waste that would have already been disposed of.
During the cleanup, old disused household appliances and other clutter were also found, the result of repeated illegal dumping, as well as bedding, bottles and other elements of severe deterioration.
At the end of the reclamation – which as already mentioned is scheduled for the end of next week, a fence of the area is planned. They will be about 1500 meters of fence to block access to the neighborhood where Milan intends to carry out its new project. As always reported by The citizen “Cascina San Francesco will also be made safe where the coming and going of squatters will be stopped by closing the access gates to the dilapidated building which had been created by people looking for makeshift shelters in secluded places“.
