The Arezzo Basketball School hires Giacomo Scortica

The Arezzo Basketball School is pleased to announce the arrival of Giacomo Scortica who will be part of the squad available to coach Fioravanti. Scortica comes from Campli where he played an excellent season in where he averaged over 20 points per game in a team that reached the PlayOff semi-finals.
These are Giacomo Scortica’s first words in amaranth: “I am thrilled to announce that I will be joining the SBA Arezzo team for next season! It is a great honor to be part of a club with such a rich history and such a passionate fan base. I can’t wait to contribute with my commitment and determination, I’m ready to give my all to help the team achieve our goals and, together with my new teammates, fight for every victory. Thanks to the management and technical staff for the trust they have placed in me. I can’t wait to meet the fans and experience the thrill of playing in front of you. I hope I can repay your support with great performances and unforgettable moments.
See you soon on the field!”.
Coach Fioravanti on the new arrival: “Giacomo was a pleasant discovery: I was struck by the naturalness he has in making baskets, both in penetration and from the 3-point range. He certainly starts as the underdog of this championship but I believe he has the technical and mental abilities above all to not suffer from the category jump; right from the first chat I found a guy who was available, enthusiastic and eager to get to work at a higher level”.
