Visa Cash App RB will present the key update of the season at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Visa Cash App RB are looking to strengthen their position in the middle of the pack and widen the gap between them and the bottom four teams with their next update at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Manufacturers are still focused on introducing significant improvements to gain an edge over their competitors.

The recent performances of McLaren and Mercedes have highlighted the importance of the upgrades, as both teams are now fighting for top grid positions and victories.

According to a report from Formu1a.uno, a team in the middle of the pack is looking to make significant progress in Spain.

Visa Cash App RB is planning to bring its most crucial update of the season to the Spanish Grand Prix, which could potentially save a significant amount of lap time if it meets its £890m expectations.

After rebranding over the winter, Red Bull’s sister team V-CARB has had a positive season so far.

Last year, AlphaTauri finished 8th in the Constructors’ Championship, but the new V-CARB team overtook Williams and Alpine this year.

Although Daniel Ricciardo’s return to Formula 1 didn’t go as planned, his performance in Canada showed promise.

Ricciardo’s teammate Yuki Tsunoda is attracting attention in the paddock.

The Japanese driver is currently in the top ten in the Drivers’ Championship, ahead of Lance Stroll, and often reaches Q3 in qualifying. He was disappointed with 8th place on the grid in Montreal, while Ricciardo started from the third row.

Visa Cash App RB expects its next update to the Spanish Grand Prix to solidify its position in the middle of the pack and widen the gap between them and the bottom four teams.

If successful, Aston Martin may have to worry about its championship position.

Formu1a.uno’s report provides details on RB’s expectations for the update.

Their initial upgrade package in Miami resulted in Ricciardo finishing fourth in the Sprint Race and Tsunoda taking five points in both races.

However, reliable sources have indicated that the update for the Spanish Grand Prix will be the most crucial of the season for RB.

If all goes to plan, the updates could provide a time advantage of up to 2.5 tenths at tracks such as Barcelona and Silverstone.

If RB had gotten that time in Canada, Tsunoda would have finished sixth and Ricciardo could have started on pole position.

While this outcome seems unlikely, especially with other teams also making improvements, RB is in a good position this season and aims to close the gap to Aston Martin by the end of the upcoming three-race sequence.
