A second park in Aprilia risks having to close, as happened with the Manaresi park, where the local health authority forced the Municipality of Aprilia to make all the games inaccessible. Which the Municipality promptly had to do.
The problems with the games, however, are not only at Manaresi. Now the ASL has also pointed the finger at the Kefalonia Fallen Park, after the report from the 5 Star Movement activist and former mayoral candidate Andrea Ragusa.
Battered games highlighted, due not only to lack of maintenance, but also to vandalism.
The Grillino activist explains: «After the request for an inspection for the Manaresi Park sent to the Prevention Department of the ASL of Aprilia, their inspection was carried out very quickly, and their request to the Municipality for an urgent ban on the accessibility of the park pending of the restoration of the safety conditions of the same, I sent a similar report for the Kefalonia Fallen Park”.

«With the speed, which I can now say distinguishes the Prevention Department of the ASL, the competent municipal authorities were asked to verify and adopt every useful intervention as represented by me. We are awaiting the evaluations, but the situation does not seem dissimilar to Parco Manaresi.”
Problems
«In fact, here too, I noticed what appear to be serious maintenance deficiencies, such as the wooden poles of the attractions eroded at the base, rather than the suspended walkway with the handrail beams patched in a dangerous way, children’s horses with missing pieces or, again , anti-trauma mats often absent and so on.”
The activist, former mayoral candidate, adds with a polemical streak: «I wonder if the councilor and deputy mayor lives in this city or if he is too busy taking part in ceremonies wearing the tricolor and cutting ribbons that he doesn’t realize that the Children’s play areas in some of the city’s public parks appear abandoned and unmaintained, to the point where they could even be dangerous.”
