On the occasion of the celebrations for the centenary of the composer’s death, Turandot by Giacomo Puccini is the opera chosen for 200.Com A project for the citythe participatory work of AsLiCo, which has become a distinctive and characterizing element of the Festival How City from the Music. The direction will be entrusted to Valentina Carrasco, while the musical direction will be by Maestro Jacopo Brusa. The debut is approaching, Thursday 27 June.

He reaches the seventeenth edition The Como City of Music Festivalalways directed and organized by Social Theater of Como-AsLiCoin collaboration with Society of Boxers and with the contribution of Municipality of Comowith the shared idea that culture has a fundamental role in the development of the city, both for citizens and tourists.

After the Opera Education projects, AsLiCo now chooses to dedicate 2024 to this great and famous title, declining it this time with the X edition of the project which has become a distinctive and characterizing element of the Festival.
The opera will be staged atArena of the Teatro Sociale of Como Thursday 27, Saturday 29 June and Monday 1 July at 9.30pm.

On stage, she will be playing Turandot Hanying Tso; David Captain will be Altoum, while Calaf will be played by Max Jota; with them also some winners and finalists of the latest editions of the AsLiCo International Competition for Young Opera Singers, such as Baopeng Wang (Timur), Alessia Merepeza (Liù), Junyeok Park (Ping) e Lorenzo Martelli (Pong). They complete the cast Raffaele Feo (Pang) e Francesco La Gattuta (A Mandarin).
Together with the creative team and professional singers, of course there will be no shortage of Choir 200.Com with more than 200 amateur singers, the heart of the AsLiCo participatory project, directed by Maestro Massimo Fiocchi Malaspina.

As with the Season, the opera performances will be preceded by PrimaGiovania preview reserved to under30. The appointment is for Tuesday 25 June at 8.00 pm for a meet&greet with some of the protagonists of Turandot, followed by the opera at 9.30pm. Ticket cost €10.

The show takes place in the Arena of the Teatro Sociale of Como, outdoors.
