The Unsic of Rimini, in collaboration with the “IDOS Study and Research Centre”, with the Enasc patronage and with the “Ardea APS” Association, organizes the conference entitled “Economy, work, immigration – New Opportunities“, which will be held on 1 July 2024, at 4.30 pm, at the Hotel Continental in Rimini.
This event will be an important opportunity to discuss and explore issues related to work, the economy and immigration, with particular attention to social dynamics and current challenges.
Furthermore, during the event, the new opportunities that Italian companies can exploit to find qualified personnel through foreign internships and specific training abroad will be illustrated, and how migrants can obtain authorization for Italy.
During this conference, the “2023 Immigration Dossier”, created by the IDOS Study and Research Centre, will be presented.
The President of the IDOS Study and Research Centre, Professor Luca Di Sciullo, will be present at the conference and will report and present the dossier.
Please remember that the IDOS Study and Research Center is born, as cooperative and publishing housein 2004 by the original group of researchers operating at the Caritas of Rome for the realization of Immigration Statistical Dossier, the first organic annual report, of a socio-statistical nature, on immigration in Italy (the first edition dates back to 1991). Over time, IDOS has added to this main publication other socio-statistical yearbooks (the Roman Observatory on Migration, the Immigration and Entrepreneurship Report, and – from 2001 to 2013 – the Report on the Indices of Integration of Immigrants in Italy, created on behalf of CNEL) and thematic publications.
Since 2013, the members of the IDOS Study and Research Center have also joined theIDOS social promotion associationwhich among its aims is to promote awareness-raising activities on immigration, integration of migrants and the fight against discrimination, also through the dissemination of the Study Centre’s publications.
