Inaugurated today officially the mega installation “Brand Napoli” in Piazza Municipio. Located between Via Acton and the port, will welcome tourists who disembark from cruise ships and who exit from the Municipio stop on Metro 1.

Inaugurated today morning, Friday 21 June 2024, in the presence of theTourism Councilor and production activities Teresa Armatothe new brand of the Municipality of Naples in Piazza Municipio.

“Brand Napoli” is an installation made up of 12 panels with the writing “Napoli” in Italian and English, located in Town Hall Square Port side, near via Acton, which will welcome tourists arriving in the city by sea and the many visitors to the Piazza Municipio area.
The architect’s project Marco Tatafiore was built and installed by Intersport Advertising Of Marco Cicala with the purpose of further promote the city and its image. The “Brand Napoli” will offer tourists the opportunity to take selfies with symbols of Naples. Among these, the San Gennaro painted by Jorit, Pizza, the baba, the Toledo metro station, Pulcinella, Vesuviusthe view of the gulf and the sea it’s still Maradona, Palazzo Donn’Anna and the sea of Posillipo.
“We are really very happy that there was such an effective response to the announcement that we made a few months ago. The Brand has the most evocative or at least most iconic images of our city and I have already seen many tourists coming up to take photos here, and this is exactly what we wanted. We decided to place it here first because this is one of the most beautiful squares in Naples which by will of the mayor will also be characterized by artistic installations, there is the Venus of rags and now there is the brand, and then because this brand speaks to the tourists, especially cruise passengers arriving from the port, those arriving from the airport and the station and all those who come here to admire this splendid square from where you can see Castel Sant’Elmo, the Maschio Angioino and some of the most beautiful buildings in our city, in short one of the most iconic places in Naples. I thank the architect Tatafiore and a great group of creatives who worked on this product and we hope that it too will become an attraction for this city already crowded with tourists, in short, a Naples that is increasingly similar to the great European capitals“: This is the declaration of Councilor Armato on the occasion of the inauguration.
