The new course of Italgronda Futsal Prato begins with the arrival at the club of two former players who made the history of the other famous club in our city, Prato Calcio a 5. President Gianluca Caminati has in fact decided to focus on the couple formed by Cristian Busato and Alessandro Calamai. The first will be the technical director, the second the coach who takes over from Massimo Zudetich who had led the team in the last two seasons. Calamai di Zudetich was also the valid deputy in the championship which recently ended with the elimination in the semi-final of the promotion playoffs. He, who was also captain of Prato Calcio a 5, will have to try to do better in the 2024/25 Serie B championship. However, supervision will fall to Cristian Busato, two-time Italian champion with Furpile Prato Calcio a 5 at the beginning of the 2000s and an esteemed coach, who in his career also boasts a promotion from Serie B with Futsal Pistoia. The choice of the long-time Prato couple suggests that the club led by Caminati intends to take things seriously next season too and try to reach the A2 series which in the championship just ended barely faded.
