The ANMIL (National Association of Mutilated and Disabled Workers of
Lavoro) of Catanzaro is renewed after the work of the Association.

In the province of Catanzaro the territorial council that will accompany the activities of the ANMIL,

in collaboration with the institutions and major entities present locally, it is composed as follows:
? Territorial President of Catanzaro, Luigi Francesco Cuomo of Catanzaro
? Territorial Vice President Antonio Davoli, from Gizzeria
? Territorial councilors: Mirigliani Mario, Romeo Giuseppe, Procopio Alessandro,
Critelli Alessandro.

Among the various activities that the new association management in the province of Catanzaro is organizing
the 74th National Day for Victims of Accidents at Work – institutionalized with Prime Ministerial Decree
in ’98 – represents the most important annual event in memory of the victims of work and for
underline how fundamental it is to put safety at work first, the lack of which
it causes accidents and occupational diseases that are always avoidable and predictable.
“Today, like yesterday, it is not acceptable to die from work – declares the President of ANMIL of Catanzaro –
but from the numbers that emerge from INAIL data it seems that nothing changes despite technology, the
awareness and stringent regulations.

Therefore, as territorial ANMIL President, in mutual agreement with the Council, I will commit myself
with all my strength to put into practice precise and strategic actions that succeed
impact on a phenomenon that is too underestimated but which has a strong impact on the country, such as poverty
safety in the workplace, and on the increasingly reduced and unfair protections of those who
become injured or contract an occupational disease.”
