The third preliminary investigation services conference pursuant to art. 14, paragraph 1, law no. 241/1990, as part of the procedure for the establishment of the “Lama Santa Croce” Regional Natural Park.

During the meeting there was a discussion on the Guidelines of the Address Document which will represent the outline for the future governance of the Park.

The Associations, present with their members, expressed their appreciation for the work carried out by the regional offices and the Technical Division of the Municipality of Bisceglie and thanked the municipal administrations who have supported the administrative process since 2018.

Today the preliminary investigation phase was concluded which definitively established the boundaries of the Regional Park, with the prospect of expansion to neighboring municipalities for territorial continuity and naturalistic, landscape and geomorphological affinities,

The Associations express their full satisfaction with the conclusion of the preliminary investigation procedure during which they offered their responsible contribution, facilitating the work of the Offices with constructive proposals and demonstrating their collaborative intent, as the establishment of the Park represents the synthesis of their requests for protection, valorisation and safeguarding of the territory.

For this reason, the active involvement of the Associations in the governance of the Park will be important in the near future, so that that common feeling of environmental protection finds concrete implementation with the Sustainable Development of choices.
