The historic center of Casalciprano has not undergone major transformations over the centuries. It was once the beating heart of the town, a place where everyday life took place animated by shops, families and life. Today the village, entirely recovered from an architectural point of view, “has come back to life” thanks to the Open Air Museum of Rural Memory. An ambitious project in terms of beauty, size and historical-cultural value created by the Municipality of Casalciprano and managed by the Arx Prandi Cultural Association which becomes an opportunity and tool for the revitalization of the town through the rediscovery of peasant memory revived through an open-air museum inserted in a rural aggregate, silent guardian of wisdom and traditions, which in the past represented the ideal environment for everyday life. On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Open Air Museum of Molise peasant memory, the Municipality of Casalciprano in collaboration with the associations Arx Prandi, Pro Loco Lu Muraglion and Tifernum Bike Team is organizing three celebratory events which have as their theme traditions, gastronomy, beliefs and superstitions. The first event will be held on Sunday 23 June at 5pm and will include: an inaugural conference on the magical herbs of San Giovanni, the opening of the exhibition “From here we started” and the tasting of an old-fashioned snack.
