As part of the initiatives aimed at highlighting the anniversary and underlining the significant milestone of the 250 years of history of the Guardia di Finanza which occurs this year, with the patronage of the Province of Avellino and the City of Avellino, from 5.00 pm on 25 June, at the HUB Fondazione Sistema Irpinia in Palazzo Caracciolo in Avellino, headquarters of the Province, the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Avellino, will inaugurate the exhibition “250 Years – Tradition and Future”.
Visitors will have the opportunity to relive, following a fascinating immersive journey through the display of historical uniforms, images and videos, the most significant aspects, moments and events of the history of the Institution which contributed to forging and sedimenting the Tradition of Body, solid foundation on which to build the Future.
To delve deeper into the fascinating history of the Corps in the splendid setting of the Cloister of Palazzo Caracciolo in Piazza Libertà, finally, on the morning of June 26th, at 10.30 am, a story on the historical evolution of the Guardia di Finanza will be held by the Retired Division General, Nicola Di Guglielmo and Col. (Aus) Gerardo Severino, former Director of the Historical Museum of the Guardia di Finanza, with the introduction by the Provincial Commander of Avellino of the Guardia di Finanza, Col. Salvatore Minale.
The exhibition will remain open to the public from 5pm to 10pm on 25 and 26 June 2024, with free entry
