REGGIO EMILIA – A new, prestigious opening at the Innovation Park. With an aperitif, in the presence of sector operators and institutions, the Reggio Emilia headquarters of EY was inaugurated, a world leader in professional auditing and accounting organisation, tax and legal assistance, transaction and consultancy services, present in Italy with over 9,500 people.
The company expects an increase in hiring in the coming years in Emilia-Romagna, with the arrival of 200 professionals in the Bologna and Reggio Emilia offices. The most sought-after profiles will be graduates and undergraduates in Economics, Quantitative Finance, Management Engineering and Computer Engineering.
The new office stands between tradition and innovation: from the urban recovery of a former industrial centre, the Officine Meccaniche Reggiane, the new headquarters becomes an innovative and technological center that brings together EY’s diversified and transversal skills: Audit, Tax, Financial Accounting Advisory Services , Management Control and Analytics.
In our region, EY currently has around 250 professionals, coordinated by Gianluca Focaccia, head of the Emilia-Romagna and Marche area, among the promoters of this important investment in the area, which will soon be followed by a radical transformation of the historic Bologna office.
EY has been present in the Reggio Emilia area since 2022, following the acquisition of Way Srl, a digital start-up founded by Roberto Piuca, now Partner of EY, which has doubled its people in the last 24 months, and which today Thanks to the new headquarters, we are supported by over 20 professionals with distinctive skills in the Audit and Tax fields, exceeding 40 people. The office is characterized by a large presence of young people, with an economic-financial, management and IT background.
