Vein detector donated to the Magenta hospital by the Alomar section of Legnano

MAGENTA – A vein detector that uses the infrared technology to illuminate them, simplifying their localization and improving treatment procedures of the patient suffering from rheumatic diseases, who has to deal with frequent infusion therapies and blood tests. It was donated today, Thursday 20 June, to the Mac Rheumatology department (highly complex outpatient macroactivity) of the Magenta hospital by the president of the Legnano section of the Alomar association (Lombardy rheumatological disease association) Odv, Elisabetta Bagoliniaccompanied by a group of volunteers (in the pictures).

They were present Paola Faggiolidirector of Rheumatology of the Asst Ovest Milanese, Chiara Radice, director of the Magenta-Abbiategrasso hospital, in addition to the nursing coordinators and medical staff. The same healthcare device had already been donated by the association at the Rheumatology department of the Legnano hospital.

Dr. Faggioli expressed her gratitude «for the significant impact that this new tool will have on the efficiency of the department and on patient care, and for the constant presence and support of the local section of Alomar Odv in the hospitals of the Asst. His volunteers contribute, with dedication and generosity, to improving care for patients suffering from rheumatological pathologies.”
