The third edition of the FISR “First Steps and Young Promises” National Figure Skating Trophy took place from 8 to 17 June, in the Abruzzo location of Roccaraso (Aq). Over 1200 athletes participated and the competition was attended by, among others, the Asd Green roller led by the federal coach Calo’ Valentina together with her collaborators Soriano Elisa and Mezzina Luigia. The company was present with 38 athletes who achieved excellent results, with 8 podiums, considering that for many it was their first experience in the national field.

«It is a trophy that opens the doors to many athletes who find it difficult to emerge in categories where the level has become very high. Our athletes behaved very well and gave their all, considering that at the moment our sports hall in Molfetta is temporarily closed, so the boys, with many sacrifices, continued training in another structure. A special thank you goes to the families who allowed our athletes to live this experience” – comments coach Valentina Calo’ -. Ours is an association that has always aimed for years at the competitive growth of its athletes, allowing them to live these experiences that will remain in their memories.

Now we are preparing for the Italian Championships of the athletes of the competitive team which will be held in Roccaraso from 20th to 25th for the athlete Altamura Aurora, in Ponte di Legno from 22nd to 27th June for the athlete Troccoli Rebecca, and in Piancavallo from 23rd to 27th July for the athletes De Giglio Elisa, Porta Gemma and Gadaleta Serena.
