In the home match on Wednesday 19 June, the youngsters of the under 18s of Piacenza Baseball they easily beat the peers of Oltretorrente Parma with a clear 13-2, protecting the top of the table alone. In a round in which Collecchio rests, Poviglio maintains the minimum gap from Piacenza by beating Reggio Emilia 3-2; while Sala Baganza trails by one point, losing 2-1 in the match against Crocetta.
THE MATCH – The Parma team immediately took the lead, scoring a point in their first attack; in the bottom part of the inning it is Piacenza who responds and with the first two batters (Pancini on base for balls, D’Auria triple and wild pitch) immediately overturns the score, obtaining the advantage which he will maintain until the end, increasing it with each attack to the first four innings.
