A significant step towards the mission of the innovative hub dedicated to the airport sector open to system stakeholders, start-ups and national and international innovative platforms to further consolidate the commitment to driving change towards a greener and technologically advanced future.
The four airports in Puglia, together with UrbanV, guarantee extensive experience and a strong commitment to sustainable practices, technological innovation and improving the passenger experience.
According to Aeroporti 2030, in fact, the airports of the future must have a vision of intermodal transport with an approach that favors sustainability and innovation. The use of renewable energy and the development of sustainable aviation fuels must therefore be implemented.
It is necessary to move the airport system towards an increasingly digital mode that allows passengers and airlines to use new technologies effectively and safely, also through the development of advanced air mobility and vertiports.

The technological development of suborbital flights sees the Grottaglie Spaceport as a strategic infrastructure for Italy’s autonomous access to space, as well as the development of the last mile aviation market, in terms of the evolution of the Regional Network of second Vertiport level. Aeroporti di Puglia, as an airport manager operating in the South, captures the peculiarities of the territory and acts as an implementer of accessibility development policies in the peripheral areas of the country attracting investments also with a view to the single SEZ (Special Economic Zone).
