Crotone: rescue dogs on the city beaches again this year

Also this summer, after the positive experience of last year, the initiative of the presence of rescue dogs on the city beaches is being proposed again. This was communicated by the Environment Councilor Angela Maria De Renzo.

The administration, in fact, sponsored the proposal of the ACS Rescue Dog Association which provides for the presence of trained dogs along the city beaches in the months of July and August.

Dog units ready to carry out rescue, prevention and information interventions, in order to ensure seaside safety

The Rescue Dogs Association is a civil protection structure with many years of experience in the sector. In Crotone the contact person is Giuseppe Berlingieri.

The operational staff that make up the Rescue Dog Units are highly specialized and have already carried out numerous rescue operations. The dog training method is based on passion, love and respect for each dog. Method that allows a strong synergy between the dog and its trainer.

“Also for this summer season we thought it appropriate, thanks to the availability of the rescue dog association, to repeat last year’s experience which was particularly appreciated by the bathers who frequent our coast in the summer. I thank the association for their availability as well as the III Council Commission and its president Antonella Passalacqua who supported the initiative” declares councilor De Renzo.
