It’s Plato the author of the version submitted to the graduates for the second test, Greek, at the Classical High School, according to what ANSA has learned. The text is taken from the work ‘Minos or the law’.

Plato has not been published since 2010 and thus becomes the most proposed author in modern classical studies, with three appearances (2024-2010-2004). Aristotle and Luciano stopped at 2, according to what the Skuola.net website notes.

For the second final exam in the Classics there is Plato

Two problems and 8 questions, with a series of tests on geometry, equations and functions, they were instead given to the Scientific graduates. Both mathematics problems proposed at high school are two classic function studies. The first has a classical approach and has no reference to reality. The second, however, while retaining a classic approach, contains two sentences that aim to help contextualize the problem, even though they do not go into practical development.

The 8 mathematics questions focus on mathematical analysis, probability calculation, plane and analytical geometry. In this case there is no shortage of references to reality: from the isosceles triangle to the fake coin, passing through the mathematical description of the Earth’s orbit around the sun and a quote from Gadda, who in the stories of L’Adalgisa – Dimini Milanesi describes the tiles in detail hexagonal in shape indicating its dimensions and arrangement. The first sentence contained in one of the tracks of Mathematics for the Scientific High School is by the Italian mathematician Ennio De Giorgi: “At the beginning and at the end, we have the mystery… Mathematics brings us closer to this mystery, even without penetrating it”. The second sentence, however, is from the British mathematician Hardy: “The forms created by the mathematician, like those created by the painter or the poet, must be beautiful: the ideas, like colors or words, must bind together harmoniously. Beauty is the fundamental requirement: there is no permanent place in the world for bad mathematics.”

To the high school of Human Sciences the second test of maturity would be on active interaction in the educational environment, based on the school proposed by Maria Montessori and that of John Dewey. It is therefore a test based on the work of the philosopher and pedagogist Dewey “Experience and education”, which also talks about the Montessori school.

The maintenance of a small paint and color workshop, possible breakdowns, prevention and protection measures: this is the test proposed to professional institutes under the old system.

The case presented for the Business Economics test, second writing of the 2024 Maturity for students technical institutes for Administration, Finance and Marketing, concerns a typical small and medium-sized Italian company that operates in the electronics, electromechanics and electro-medical sector and which is dealing with development projects with a view to sustainability but also with the lack of young people with a view to generational turnover in the workforce Work. This is what the Skuola.net website reports.

The autonomy of the Regions also reaches Maturity: the case presented in the Systems and Networks test atITIA technical institute (IT and telecommunications, “IT” address) concerns a company set up ad hoc by an Italian Region to provide broadband cables to public bodies and manage, among other things, the health data of patients in public healthcare facilities. Having to extend the Network – as foreseen by one of the Pnrr missions – also to private structures, in order to bring the data processed by them into the citizen’s electronic health record. The candidate is asked to contribute to the design of the infrastructure through a series of specific questions
