”Strong investment in the search for financing”, promises the mayor of Campogalliano

Daniela Tebasti, new mayor of Campogalliano, is the new president of the Terre d’Argine Union. “We have inherited a healthy institution capable of making important choices. A Union that is not a sum of services but an Administration capable of planning a territory together”, says the new president of the Union of Municipalities of Carpi, Soliera, Novi and Campogalliano.

(continued)

The four Mayors of the Union met yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 19 June, to jointly approve the first act of this council, identifying the new President, in compliance with the Statute of the Union. The statute of the Terre d’Argine establishes that the Mayors of the four municipalities take turns acting as President, alternating every 18 months. We have thus reached the turn of the Mayor of Campogalliano who succeeds the presidency of the (outgoing) Mayor of Carpi. In the first council meeting of the new council the three new mayors met Daniela Tebasti, Riccardo Righi And Caterina Bagni and the mayor of Novi Enrico Diaccithe only one already present in the previous Union Council.

“The Union of Lands of Embankment will promote a development of the territory that respects the 2030 Agenda. Objectives already collected in the Atuss strategic plan and in the General Urban Plan – continues the new president Tebasti –. We will develop them and give them legs with a strong investment in seeking financing, with greater attractiveness for innovative businesses and with the development of sustainable roads throughout the entire territory. As Mayors we feel close-knit and in synergy to achieve ambitious objectives for the territories of our Municipalities. The Union will be able to provide services increasingly closer to citizens by developing synergistic policies in security, education and social issues. As the new Council of the Union, we would like to collectively thank the administrators of the previous council for the precious work carried out. Now we are ready to take up the baton and try to build new scenarios of sustainable development.”
