In the Challenge, absolute seasonal record for Guerrini

TERNI – Olivia Sbordoni wins the 57th Giorgio Bravin National Meeting in the Pupils and Cadets category. The prestigious and historic youth athletics event, where many future champions have passed over the years, organized by Asi Atletica Roma and the Asi provincial committee which took place at the Army Sports Center in Cecchignola. The new location welcomed over 500 athletes coming in particular from Lazio and beyond. In the welcoming and functional temple of athletics, the Army stadium inside the Olympic Sports Center at Cecchignola was stormed by the public while on the track the longest running event in Italy at Cadet and Cadet level did not disappoint the expectations. The results, and the talents seen on the tracks and platforms, drew applause and gave important indications on the future of the protagonists. The races were of great technical value and some performances were of notable merit in both categories. In the 400 gram Cadette javelin the best credit was that of Olivia Sbordoni who won the competition with a measurement of 33.50. Antonio Valenti and Simone Antonini Cencicchio improve their personal best. Valenti with the measurement of 44.77 which gives him fifth place in the 600 gram Cadetti javelin, Antonini Cencicchio with 32.82 which gives him tenth place. For Francesco Lepri second best performance in the long jump with a 5.46 which is worth tenth place. Three failed attempts in the high jump for Anna Bordoni. In the overall Challenge, a seasonal record for Guerrini engaged on the track in Brescia. In the women’s 800 meter race, Gloria was third in the series and 14th overall with a time of 2:10.61.
