A week at the theater with Cpa and Scuola Vancini. Five shows, 140 students and 500 spectators: success for the end-of-year performances. An intense week for the students of the Actor Pretraining Center (Cpa) of Ferrara who staged ‘They all say so’, ‘Generazione H’ and ‘What a wonderful world’ in the Estense hall, three different shows which involved as many as ninety students of the school. There will also be space for the very young people in the junior course. At the end of the performances, which were staged under the supervision of Massimo Malucelli, teacher and artistic director of the Cpa, the final year students of the Actor Pre-training Center received their diplomas. Intense days also for the students of the Florestano Vancini School of Cinematographic Arts of Ferrara who brought “Abc. Always be closing” and at the Teatro Comunale Abbado they proposed “Maybe… a movie”. The two shows saw the participation of fifty students led by Alessio Di Clemente, acting teacher and artistic director of Vancini and by Massimo Malucelli.
The city’s response to the shows was excellent. There were over five hundred spectators between the Estense Hall, the former Verdi Theater and the Abbado Municipal Theatre. “We are happy with the goal achieved. Seeing over one hundred girls and boys on three city stages was exciting and – underlines Stefano Muroni, president of the Ferrara creative chain La Città del Cinema – even more exciting was seeing the audience in the theater enthusiastically following the various stagings. Sincere thanks to the Municipality of Ferrara and the Teatro Comunale Foundation for their collaboration”. And again: “Our training courses are consolidated year after year. Now we are preparing for the tenth edition of the Tenda Summer School, the international Commedia dell’Arte campus which will take place at Villa Mensa, and in September we will start again with important news”.
