TREVISO – Mortal accident in Treviso shortly after 6.30 pm in Viale Europa: a cyclist was hit by a car right at the roundabout in front of the Da Vinci high school, near a pedestrian crossing. The man fell and has hit my head on the curb, trauma resulting in death. It has not yet been possible to identify him because he has no documents. In his pocket he only had a bunch of keys. According to the local police he appears to be between 30 and 40 years old
The controversy was immediate: residents have been protesting for some time about the danger of the road section leading to the roundabout: “The cars arrive too fast, we’ve been asking for speed bumps for years in vain.”
