ROVIGO – The Bachelet Group, which will be able to count on the elected councilor Andrea Borgato, president of the centre-left political and cultural association named after Vittorio Bachelet, is making an appeal in view of the run-off next Sunday and Monday, inviting people to vote and support the re-election as mayor of Edoardo Gaffeo.
“Gaffeo represents the concrete possibility for Rovigo to have a first citizen who is prepared and able to face the problems that still weigh on the city with full knowledge of the facts – they announce from Bachelet – consequences of errors of the previous centre-right administrations and to which the previous administration has started to remedy it.
With Gaffeo as mayor it will be possible to materialize the projects already implemented and renew the city even more profoundly. Otherwise, we fear a return to the past, with administrators who, in our opinion, “have already given” with strategies and projects that have proven to be burdens that the city still has to shoulder today (think of the swimming pools, Iras, northern bypass and more).
The Bachelet Group invites all citizens of Rovigo not to leave the choice of future administrators to others and, therefore, to go to the polls to actively contribute to indicating their own Mayor and the relative composition of the municipal council. With the ballot, in fact, not only will it be chosen who will be the Mayor but also who will be those who, sitting in the City Council or the Executive, will be in a position to decide on the administration of the city and its neighborhoods and hamlets.
Faced with a choice between the future and a return to the past, between an administration that looks to the values of competence and attention towards the city as a whole and those who chase small segments of interest without an overall view with slogans and empty and unrealizable promises.
The comparison is between a homogeneous civic proposal, even politically, and one that offers itself with a false transversality when the real protagonist forces in the field are evident and precise.
