Montepulciano also joins the twelfth edition of “Summer Rainbow”, the launch event of the summer season promoted by the Tuscany region and which, for this year, has “widespread Tuscany” as its theme. The proposed initiative is organized by the Pro Loco of Montepulciano Aps, it is free but upon reservation. The appointment is for Friday 21 June 2024, at 4.30 pm in Piazza Grande, where the guided tour of the Town Hall will begin, complete with a climb to the Tower, to enjoy the spectacular view of Piazza Grande and a good part of the Valdichiana Senese and Aretina, and a panorama that goes beyond Lake Trasimeno, up to the mountains of Umbria and Marche.
The afternoon will continue to discover the widespread exhibition of the German sculptor and artist Carin Grudda, which sees her magnificent bronze works placed in squares and symbolic places of the historic Renaissance center of Montepulciano. Grand finale at the Fortress where not only is a significant part of the Grudda exhibition located, but you can also make a well-wishing toast to the summer to come, at the Enoliteca of the Consorzio del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
