This morning Vito Leccese, the center-left candidate for the Bari municipal elections, has launched the six interventions to be carried out in the first 100 days of government of the city. In this way the mayoral candidate intends to make a commitment with the citizens of Bari on the first actions to be initiated.
“The government program of our coalition is a substantial and very ambitious document, built in recent months with the support of many citizens who have delivered real dreams and needs into our hands – declares Vito Leccese -. With this initiative we want, instead, to present only a small part of the program that we intend to launch in the first 100 days: these are concrete actions on issues of fundamental importance such as housing, work, waste, territorial planning, greenery and nightlife. It is our intention to start immediately to deal with the government of the city of Bari starting from these interventions particularly felt by the citizens, which will immediately qualify our vision of the city, shared with the entire centre-left coalition”.
These are the interventions: the introduction of the figure of the neighborhood ecological operator; the launch of a work bonus for 2,000 citizens; the planting of 1,000 new trees; the provision of a housing bonus, equal to 2,000 euros per year, aimed at 2,000 families in difficulty with rent; the mayor of the night, a figure already in use in London and Berlin who can act as a mediator between residents, nightclub managers and the police; start of the process for the drafting of the general urban plan.
