Fire in Aversa in the village area: large cloud of smoke [VIDEO]

Aversa – A vast fire it broke out in the Borgo di Aversa area, near Viale Europa. The dense cloud of black smoke is also visible from neighboring towns.

The Local Police, the State Police, the Carabinieri, the Fire Brigade and the ambulance promptly intervened on site to ensure safety and provide assistance. The authorities are working tirelessly to tame the flames and secure the surrounding area. The causes of the fire are still being investigated. It is unclear whether the fire was arson or accidental.

Six teams are working to put out the fire and contain the flames which also affected two apartments in the immediate vicinity of the warehouse: two from the headquarters command centerone from the detachment of Aversa, one from the detachment of Marcianise and three coming from the commands of Benevento, Naples and Avellino. Three tankers from the Caserta command and a tanker from the Benevento command, a ladder truck from the Avellino command, a car protector and also an airport vehicle from the Salerno command also intervened in support.

The provincial commander also arrived on site to coordinate the firefighting operations Engineer Paolo Massimi. Investigations are also underway to establish the causes of the fire by the Judicial Police Command unit. No people were reported injured in the fire and extinguishing operations are still underway.
