Piacenza, 19 June 2024 – Not one, but two weddings! While waiting to seal their union next Monday 24 June in Salerno, as was revealed last March by the marriage banns of the Municipality of Milan (where they both have their residence), Filippo Inzaghi And Angela Robusti In the meantime they got married Tuesday 18 June to Formentera, in Spain.

He is 50 years old, she is 34, but age is not important, only the love they have felt for each other counts since the two met in 2017 in Veniceat the time when Pippo was coach of the Venetian club that had just been promoted to Serie A. During their relationship, the two also gave birth to their two children: Edward and Emilia, two and one years old.
Pippo and Angela said their yes completely dressed in white, in the presence of around 200 people who flew to the Balearic island. Many i vip, including Pippo’s former footballers and teammates. For each guest, the spouses prepared a “Welcome box” with an invitation to leave the stress at home: “Welcome to our island of the heart – we read on the box – Let yourself be carried away by the soul of Formentera and leave all the stress and thoughts of home in here!”.
Now everyone is in Salerno, where next Monday the union between Inzaghi and Robusti will also be sealed in Italy.
How Pippo and Angela met
The first time Inzaghi and Robusti met was quite funny. The two met again in Venice at one Halloween party. “I found him at the bar, we both ordered water – Angela had told Di Più, a version also confirmed in Superpippo’s personal autobiography – ‘You should try to get to know each other’, the bartender told us. ‘You are the only ones who have asked me something alcohol free‘. We looked at each other. She let out a laugh.”
But the beginning between the two was not simple: “We immediately clashed because I realized that he wasn’t used to courting – added Robusti – I, on the other hand, like to be courted and above all I don’t accept orders”.
Shortly thereafter, however, the first dinner arrived: “It was a laughable, carefree evening in which perhaps we fell in love. I understood that something was happening between us when, suddenly, during dinner Filippo made a video call to his mother, whose name is Marina, and passed it to me.”
The first meeting between Inzaghi and Angela’s parents was also funny and tragicomic: “One day I fainted in the office, the person I worked for took my cell phone and called Filippo, who I had stored in the address book with the word ‘Love‘ – she concluded – He was training, he dropped everything and ran to me. She took me to the hospital and after a few minutes my father arrived.
‘Dad, he’s my boyfriend,’ I said. They shook hands next to me who was on a stretcher, waiting to be examined.”

That of Inzaghi and Angela Robusti from Piacenza, however, will not be the only excellent wedding that will be celebrated in the summer relating to a famous sporting figure.
In fact, they will also get married to the MotoGP champion, Francesco Bagnaiaand his historic girlfriend, Domizia Castagnini. The ceremony will be held on July 20thwith mass at the Cathedral of Pesaro and wedding party in the setting of Imperial Villawhich has already hosted the weddings of several other celebrities.
