With a post published on Facebook come on city councilors Domenico Santoro, Teresa Errico and Antonio Miola of the “Lista Santoro” group announces that the Puglia Region has revoked the 6 million euro financing from the Municipality of Massafra for the via Ferrara overpass in Massafra.

«After 5 years of waiting and postponements and after having spent money on the designs, the Puglia Region revokes the financing of 6 million euros from the Municipality of Massafra and in all likelihood the State Railways will also do so for a further 2 million euros .
A project that has been awaited for years goes up in smoke, the dreams of entrepreneurs in the industrial area are shattered, a very important infrastructure for decongesting traffic towards the countryside and the sea is lost.
All of this is the result of the inability to manage the development processes of a town that deserves a much different fate.
We will ask for an ad hoc municipal council to listen to the reasons for this further failure and trust in “someone” taking responsibility, rather than passing the buck.”
