Dream wedding in Puglia for the Indian Gujarati Prince

VIESTE – Puglia continues to be one of the most sought-after Italian regions abroad, too, in which to stay for holidays or to celebrate important events.

In recent years there have been hundreds of couples who have chosen the Apulian region overseas to promise eternal love. Ordinary people, but also VIPs, international celebrities and royalty, including the Indian Gujarati Prince who opted for the Gargano for his wedding.

The exclusive event was in fact held in the splendid setting of the Gattarella Resort beach in Vieste, from 8 to 11 June.

Enveloped and fascinated by the natural beauty of the promontory, the couple pronounced the fateful “yes” in the presence of hundreds of friends and relatives, who, despite some logistical difficulties in reaching the prestigious destination with transfers from the airport, enthusiastically participated in the princely wedding .

“Puglia, over the last few years, has become a real brand – commented Gino Notarangelo, sole administrator of the accommodation facility – a result undoubtedly made possible by the support of the Puglia Region and the ARET – Regional Tourism Agency PUGLIAPROMOZIONE, which has led the entire Apulian territory to be known and recognized throughout the world”.

He then explained: “The organization of the royal wedding involved intensive training on the part of the management and the entire staff, starting from the study and knowledge of Indian culture, intrinsic to fascinating traditions, uses, customs and flavours, and is It was exciting for us, as well as a source of pride, to have had the privilege of being present at such a characteristic spiritual moment.”

Notarangelo also says that he pleasantly impressed the newlyweds and their guests with the typical Apulian culinary offerings, including broad beans and chicory, pan cotto and the inevitable orecchiette with turnip tops.

Certainly not the first exclusive wedding celebrated at the Gattarella Resort, but certainly the first with royal protagonists, which in the not too distant future could act as a trailblazer for other fairy-tale events.
