PALERMO – Bad adventure for a group of high school graduates who last night, in the center of Palermo, decided to exorcise the fear of exams by staging a tradition from recent years. A few dozen young people from various schools took to the streets shortly after 10pm and toured the institutes where final exams would begin this morning.
They did it by singing “night before exams”. Some residents near the Via Arimondi area did not like the shouting. When the young people arrived near the branch of the Garibaldi high school, buckets of water flew from the balconies above.
Up to this point everything could have been classified as a simple “gavettone” but after the water also came a bucket of paint diluted with water. Many young people found themselves dirty and stained from their shirts to their shoes. “It wasn’t even a time that was particularly annoying” say the boys, denouncing the incident on social media, “our little performance would have ended well before 11pm”.
