The Senate Budget Committee is examining the Cohesion decree which, among others, contains the provisions regarding income meter and at beach concessions. Before the European elections, Lega and Forza Italia had tried to stop these two measures, but now they stop And slipped, with the amendments that will be transformed into the agenda and discussed subsequently.

What the parties ask for on the income meter

The most popular hypothesis at the moment is therefore that on the income meter a solution can be reached with a parliamentary opinion on a legislative decree implementing the tax delegation. This operating mode does not displease Forza Italia which, however, through its group leader in the Senate Maurizio Gasparriasked for further confirmation “of the desire to resolve the issue”.
The theme of beach concessions
In addition to the one on the cancellation of the income meter, another amendment to the Cohesion decree is the one presented by League on the subject of beach concessions. The Carroccio asks for the mapping of the free beaches and those assigned, as well as supporting that compensation to the outgoing concessionaires be paid by the incoming ones in the event of a tender. The right of first refusal is then requested for those who already have the concession.
The League, through its group leader in the Senate Maximilian Romeohas made known his desire to transform the amendment on seaside resorts into an agenda to be addressed in one of the next Council of Ministers.
