For those who still don’t know, in fact, “El Cruce” is the former “Macondo 2” (the one from “Punta Prima” so to speak). It has changed format (and name) starting from this year, but their unmistakable pizzas have remained as they are, as has the pleasant, very friendly atmosphere. The choice of change of “Macondo 2” was commissioned by the four historic partners (Caesar, Roberto, Lorenzo – known as the “Prince” – and Giorgio) and was dictated by the desire to stand out from the “Macondo 1″ (that of Sant Ferran). Mirco’s entry into the company was precisely the added value the opportunity to create a different restaurant, with excellent meat and sublime Tuscan cuisine, but also maintaining the pizzas.
