A collective action to safeguard our marine ecosystem has been planned for Saturday 22 June 2024give her 09:00 to 15:00. The event will focus on cleaning the body of water and the seabed Breakwater pier in the Red Cross area at Villa San Giovanni. This initiative represents a significant step towards the protection of marine biodiversity and community well-being.
The initiative sees the collaboration of Plastic Free, Love Boat SRL, Diving Center A Dive Into the Blue, Diving Center Abyss, Diving Center Scilla Diving, ASD Meno 30 (Apnea Academy), Fare Eco Association, AMI Italian Sea Environment Association; the patronage of Municipality of Villa San Giovanni and with a fundamental contribution from Italian Naval League Reggio Calabria Section.
Cleaning the seas is one of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time. Every year, millions of tons of plastic end up in the oceans, causing irreparable damage to marine ecosystems and human health.
