She confesses in class at 13 that her parent abuses her

“You are my daughter and I do what I want.” It’s one of the shocking phrases reported by a 13-year-old girl in class. The class the thirteen-year-old attends was having a sex education lesson. During this hour the young woman would have said out loud, in front of teachers and classmates, that her parent paid her particular words and attention.

The student was then interviewed privately by the teachers, to whom she confirmed what was said previously. At that point, the school director of the institute obligatorily filed a complaint with the prosecutor’s office.

According to the public prosecution, the man would have given the minor obvious comments on her physical appearance and, furthermore, “acting suddenly and with insidious moves”, notes the prosecutor’s office, he would have forced her to be groped.

Faced with protests from his daughter who, crying, asked him to stop, he replied “you are my daughter and I do what I want”. Events that would have occurred in the first months of the year.

A version that disorientates the mother herself, separated from her father, and her maternal grandparents, with whom the young girl spends most of her day. Her relatives, interviewed briefly by the investigators, report that they have never noticed any over the top behavior and that the daughter has a very normal relationship with her parent.

Now the parent, 50 years old, is accused of sexual violence (aggravated by the degree of kinship and minor age) against his daughter. Yesterday (Tuesday 18 June) the hearing was held before the investigating judge Carlo Negri. The judge appointed psychologist Paola Barbiero to carry out an assessment on the girl’s ability to testify.

In September, after the submission of the conclusions, the expert will be heard in court.
