Alfano, director of the graduate school and candidate for mayor in the run-off in Torre Annunziata, defends freedom of expression and assures that he has never judged anyone on the basis of sexual orientation, saying he is convinced that it is a political attack. «The intent of those who extrapolated and disseminated them just five days before the vote – says Alfano – has a clear and despicable intent to overshadow my person as a man, as a professional and as mayor», says the head physician, «we must consider that the lists that make up my coalition have been open to all identities, freedoms and expressions.”
