Interview with Andrea Lattanzi Maria Tilli and Giacomo Ferrara

ROME – The director Maria Tilli and the interpreters Giacomo Ferrara and Andrea Lattanzi told our Francesco Parrino about the journey of Stray Animals, Tilli’s first work. Luca and Toni live in a small provincial town where nothing ever happens. They spend their days between work and boredom which they try to challenge with drugs and irrational undertakings, just to experience a bit of adrenaline. They have always been friends and even work together as paramedics. One day they are asked to transport a patient out of Italy because he needs special care. His name is Emir, he has to return to Serbia and he has asked Maria, the daughter he hasn’t seen for several years, to accompany him. The truth is that the man would like to recover the relationship with her before it is too late. Luca and Toni are thrilled and convinced that that trip will be like a trip, a holiday, an opportunity to break the monotony. During the journey, however, it will be discovered that the care Emir needs actually hides much more and soon the two boys will have to deal with the reality that up until that moment they had tried to escape. From June 27th at the cinema.
