It all started from the great determination of Enza, Alice’s mother and Saro’s wife, who was unable to complete her studies when she was a young girl and years later decided to resume her studies and complete it.
A few years ago Enza enrolled in school again, at the evening course organized by the “Archimede” Technical Commercial Institute of Modica and Saro, in order not to leave her partner alone on this journey, decided to get back into the game at school.
An adventure carried out together with her daughter Alice, who in recent years has attended the “Galilei – Campailla” Art School and is preparing to take her high school leaving exam.
Specifically, Enza will take the exam to become a commercial programmer expert, for Saro it will be his second final exam after the commercial expert one.
“It was a beautiful journey – explains Saro Di Rosa – done together with Enza, full of sacrifices because we had to combine work and school, we could only study at night or on weekends. A particular experience, some school friends are the same age as our daughter, we were among young people and this encouraged us to do more”.
The last days at home were lived in a particular way. In fact, the approaching exams made themselves felt. For Saro and Enza, Alice was the ace in the hole because there was an exchange of notes and handouts regarding common subjects. Furthermore, at the table there was a continuous review of literary authors or historical events.
