I saw their eyes red with anger, they were willing to do anything.” CP, the petrol station attendant who on Sunday night was inside the garage of the Q8 service station, which is located between the Arco Felice and Monterusciello junctions, is still shocked. The raid began at 3.30 am sharp. Six of them operated in a gray Audi A3, all hooded with gloves and small flashlights mounted on their foreheads.
THE SAFE – Although the fuel stations were closed due to a change in management of the ongoing business, inside the garage there was the petrol station attendant who has the task of activating the supply at night. Once they arrived on site, the bandits broke down the door with a “crowbar” but were unable to access the room where the safe is located, given that the employee had managed to gain access a moment earlier by barricading himself inside. Scenes filmed by the cameras of the video surveillance system which immortalized the entire sequence of the raid. Before escaping, two men from the gang ransacked the office but found nothing. The policemen from the Pozzuoli police station are investigating the episode, directed by the deputy commissioner Ludovica Carpino, who have acquired the hard disks of the video surveillance system and the employee’s testimony.
