the External Advisory Committee is born

L’“John Paul II” cancer institute Of Bari has constituted a External advisory board with the aim of promoting scientific collaboration in national and international oncology research fields.

It is a external advisory committee which will be at the service of internal scientific technical committee to the institute which is the consultative body providing technical-scientific support to research activity.

L’External advisory boardappointed for the first time, will have the jurist as president Antonio Felice Uricchioformer rector of the “Aldo Moro” University of Bari and currently president of the National Agency for the evaluation of the university and research system, and as members Alfredo Budillonscientific director of the national tumor institute Pascale Foundation of Naples, e Gianluigi De Gennaroprofessor of Environmental Chemistry at the University of Bari and president of the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Creativity of the University of Bari.

«This body – states the general director Alessandro Delle Donne – will allow us to further implement synergies with other research bodies and institutes and universities, both nationally and internationally. Already with the AMORe network we are in constant contact with the other two oncology Irccs of the South, the Crob of Rionero in Vulture and the Pascale of Naples, to integrate more lines of development on research and clinics. Now, with theExternal advisory board we will aim to expand the network of alliances in strategic oncology research areas also for applicability to international grants”.
