The 1st “Guglielmo Oberdan” Educational Club celebrates its centenary

The 1st “Guglielmo Oberdan” Educational Club celebrates its centenary with a special event. This is the final event of the PON AGENDA SUD project, entitled “Between past, present and… Future. From sources to narration 1924-2024”, which will be held on Thursday 20 June 2024 at 5.30 pm in Viale Roma in Andria.

This event celebrates one hundred years of the school’s history, reflecting on its past, present and future through a journey through historical sources and educational narrative. The initiative is part of the program financed by the European Social Fund and sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Merit, the City of Andria, the Department of Roots and various local entities, including “Fiore di Puglia” and “Le amiche per the friends”.

The event represents the culmination of an educational journey that involved students, teachers and the entire local community in a project of rediscovery and valorization of historical memory and cultural roots. During the event, works and research carried out by students, teachers and experts will be presented, showing how the stories of the past can inspire and guide the future.

The Headmaster, Prof. Palma Pellegrini, invites all citizens to participate in this moment of sharing and celebration. “Don’t miss this special occasion to celebrate an important historical milestone together and look with hope and determination to the future of our educational community.” The mayor Giovanna Bruno will also participate in the event, accompanied by the councilors of the municipal council. The event will offer a unique opportunity to learn more about the school’s educational path and the significant contribution it has offered to the community of Andria over the last hundred years.
