TURIN – Will be held dfrom 28 September to 6 October 2024 the 61st edition of Expocasa, the longest running event in Piedmont among those aimed at the general public. Organized by GL events Italia in the spaces of the Oval in Turin, the Show features new features.
For the first time there will be: the “Expocasa Kitchen”, animated by cooking shows with talents and influencers and events; the “Design call”, a contest aimed at young designers to select innovative and sustainability-conscious solutions; an area dedicated to modern antiques and vintage; an unprecedented “Expocasa Off” which will involve design throughout the territory. Entrance remains free.

With 60 years of experience, Expocasa always manages to find new ideas to seduce the public. Thus, for the 61st edition it expands its boundaries and is enriched Expocasa Offa program of events that crosses the borders of the Oval, conquering spaces throughout the Piedmont area, with neighborhoods, showrooms and shops that become the protagonists of the style that distinguishes the event.
A style that starts from a taste for design, between big names and new proposals. In fact, Expocasa celebrates this sector, for which Turin was already designated a UNESCO Creative City in 2014, becoming the only winning Italian city that identified creativity as a strategic factor for development. The 2024 edition of the Salon therefore hosts for the first time the “Design Call” designed to select ten furnishing objects created by young designers under 35, whose proposals will be exhibited during the 9 days of the Salon. Unique objects that will offer the general public an innovative and fresh vision of the world of design. The call will be published on July 1st on Expocasa 2024.
The love and propensity for design will also embrace the passion for food. It will do so in the “Expocasa Kitchen”, a special space that will offer a succession of daily live shows, with the involvement of content creators, chefs, gastronomic associations, schools who will participate using the partners’ products and furnishings.
Another novelty: alongside the new there will be antiques and modern objects, in the wake of the trend to combine contemporary elements with styles and influences of the past to create spaces that evoke a sense of familiarity, but with updated functionality and aesthetics.
Unmissable for the general public, indispensable for architects, interior designers and professionals, Expocasa will once again be the showcase in which to discover and purchase quality solutions for all environments, benefit from technical support for information and consultancy. Its main souls are two: the furnishings and accessories area – with kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, bedrooms, bathrooms and well-being, carpentry – and the technical area – with craftsmanship, home automation, flooring, materials and finishes, doors and windows, air conditioning , security, renovations. Two sections that intersect with paths dedicated to accessibility and, in collaboration with Federalberghi, to the contract (the tourism-accommodation sector).
Lots of choice in one place, where materiality is the absolute protagonist. In an increasingly digital era, in fact, at Expocasa the sensorial experience is intertwined with the authenticity of the materials. Here, every detail is designed to enhance the presence of objects, inviting visitors to rediscover the pleasure of palpable reality, accompanied by the welcome of expert staff. Expocasa it will be from Monday to Friday from 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 am to 9.00 pm at the Oval Lingotto in Turin (via Giacomo Matté Trucco, 70). Double access to the Exhibition to facilitate visitors arriving from the Turin Lingotto railway station and the Italia 61 Metro stop.
