Caserta. The ISS “Francesco Giordani”, led by the Headmaster Dr. Antonella Serpico, once again stands out in the CyberHighSchool competitions which every year organizes the Olicyber, Cybertrials and CyberChallenge.IT programs to train the new generation of Cyberdefender.

Cybersecurity, a rapidly developing sector, has become one of the main priorities for companies due to the strong increase in attacks in recent years and offers great opportunities in the work and professional fields.

The “IT and telecommunications” specialization at Giordani in Caserta prepares its students so that they can get involved in any reality in the IT field and, for the second consecutive year, at least one of our students is present at the ITC ILO in Turin where national competitions are held.

OliCyber (Italian Cybersecurity Olympics) for secondary school students

Great success for the students too

1 – Miccoli Giuseppe Cristian (4th FI)

who, after passing the pretest and subsequent admission test of the CyberChallenge.IT program, participated in the training held at the universities of their choice. Three students chose to train at the Engineering Department of the University of Naples “Parthenope” and one at the University of Campania “L. Vanvitelli”. The training hours were recognized by the school as PCTO. At the end of this path, the Local Competitions, held in the respective faculties, saw Miccoli Giuseppe Cristian classified as one of the 6 members of the team that will participate in the National Competition on 4 July at the ONU ITC ILO training campus in Turin where the best will be elected among the Italian teams of ethical hackers with the possibility of joining TeamItaly, the Italian National Cyberdefender Team that represents Italy in international competitions.

Good luck Giuseppe Cristian Miccoli and congratulations to all the students who took part in the competitions.
