Corciano, 17 June 2024 – They were considered both experienced pilots the victims of the plane crash that occurred around 7.30pm this evening, 17 June, in the skies between San Mariano di Corciano and Solomeo, in the province of Perugia. The ultralight, which took off from the Montemelino airfield, crashed into agricultural land and for the two occupants, a 57 year old and a 41 year old from Perugia, there was nothing that could be done.

It is possible that the pilot, at a certain point, lost control of the small aircraft and was unable to avoid the crash. The impact on the ground it was terrible and left the two no escape.
Near the place where the plane crashed There is a model aircraft runway. One woman said she saw the ultralight fall to the ground, but wasn’t sure whether it was a model or a real plane. Also some guys who were playing in the area said they saw the plane crash.
