Applications open until 25 June for the single selection of 37 lists of suitable candidates for professional profiles for graduates, diploma holders and specialized workers from which the over 300 Sicilian municipalities already members of Asmel, the Association for the Subsidiarity and Modernization of Local Authorities, will also be able to draw , which today has over 4,470 throughout Italy. The List of Suitable Procedures envisaged by the 2021 Recruitment Legislative Decree is a smart hiring system that has revolutionized the recruitment of staff in Italian local authorities by reducing the long times of traditional competitions. The procedure, already tested by over 700 Asmel bodies, 60 of which are Sicilian, allows hiring in just 5 weeks by calling those registered on the lists through a request and carrying out a single selective test.
The Sicilian institutions were among the first users of the innovative recruitment procedure which define an effective solution to respond promptly to staff needs. Among these are the municipalities that have already taken over Barcellona Pozzo Di Gotto, Augusta, Niscemi, Biancavilla, Buseto Palizzolo, Francofonte, Pedara, Viagrande, Nicolosi, Caltavuturo, Petralia Sottana, Rodì Milici, Torregrotta, Castel Di Lucio with this procedure since 2022.
The novelty of the third maxi notice concerns above all the quantity of ex category B profiles, i.e. expert operators such as traffic auxiliary, technical administrative collaborator, administrative accounting collaborator, technical maintenance collaborator but also carpenter, gardener, bricklayer and many others. All figures that the Municipalities have explicitly requested in recent months.
Candidates who are found eligible after passing an online test will become part of the lists and will be able to participate in the Interpello notices. In 2023, 117,000 applications were completed from all over Italy with 60% of candidates between 31 and 40 years old. 545 suitable candidates have already been hired and a further 370 recruitment procedures are currently underway in the Asmel member local authorities participating in the initiative.
