The “Pala Colombo” Sports Hall in Ruvo di Puglia hosted the inauguration ceremony of the 3rd edition of the Metropolitan Olympics promoted by the Metropolitan City of Bari. The day was characterized by an atmosphere of celebration and celebration of sporting values with the performances of numerous young athletes from the ASD Oro Dance Lopez skating, Double Fire Rhythmic Gymnastics, A5 Soccer of Ruvo, A9 Capursello Football, the athletes of the Kingdom of Oz Multipurpose Center and the Mini Basket Green Club of Ruvo di Puglia. Doing the honors and welcoming the numerous guests were the Mayor of Ruvo Pasquale Chieco and the Sports Councilor Monica Filograno. The opening ceremony brought together numerous young athletes from different Municipalities, highly appreciated by the public and by the institutional representatives of some city of the metropolitan area of Bari. A sporting event that will end on June 30th on the Bari seafront, which sees the participation of 2500 athletes, 130 associations, over 400 races, 24 different disciplines and 26 municipalities involved
