MATERA – A great parade of 48 teams. The XXXII edition of the Minibasket in the Square has begun in Matera. It will take place from 16 to 22 June, divided into groups (Matera, Novasiri, Bitritto, Corato, Molfetta and Santeramo). The final will be played on Saturday 22 June in Piazza Vittorio Veneto.
Meanwhile, the event proceeds in the squares of the Città dei Sassi, a fixed appointment in the international sporting calendar, capable of uniting young athletes, families and communities in an atmosphere of friendship and healthy competition.
This year, as in past editions, enthusiastic and numerous participation, with teams from all over the world ready to challenge each other on the field, but above all to live a unique experience of growth and sharing. Every match is an opportunity to admire the talent, passion and sportsmanship of the young basketball players, who will bring to the field not only their technical skills, but also the most authentic values of sport: respect, inclusion and solidarity.
